If you are trying to find us in our remote location, the directions and map should help you. You can use the map to find travelling directions and rough travel time to us from your location. If you are delayed or can't find us and are due on an adventure, please telephone for assistance.

How to find us
We are very easy to find as we are based in the grounds of Otterburn Bed & Breakfast (keep your eyes out for their sign) on the A861 on the eastern edge of Strontian overlooking Loch Sunart. Our flag has been destroyed by the wind, but we hope to have a sign up sometime soon.
From Fort William or Oban
Follow the A82 to the Corran Ferry (9 miles south of Fort William, 32 miles north of Oban) and take this across Loch Linnhe. Turn left on the A861 and follow this road for just under 14 miles to the edge of Strontian. Otterburn Bed & Breakfast is the first building on the right just round the bend after the 'Welcome to Strontian' signs.
From Acharacle or Ardnamurchan via Salen
Follow the A861 eastwards and drive over the stone bridge in Strontian, and past the village shop on your left heading towards Ardgour. Otterburn is at the end of the long straight road after the Post Office & petrol station just before the bend and monument.
On arrival
When you arrive, please come up the gravel driveway parallel to the loch and between the two lower houses. What Three Words locates our parking area (///freezers.locate.rainwater) where you'll find marked spaces for a two cars.
Satellite navigation (Sat Nav) systems
Our postcode (PH36 4HZ) will take you into the centre of the village near the village stores, but we are 0.7 miles east! Please follow the directions as if coming from Acharacle.

Please remember Otter Adventures is a small company that prides itself on the small-group personalised experiences we offer. If you cannot reach us immediately, we are probably out guiding during the day or even away on a mini-expedition for a few days. If you call and no-one answers, please leave a message and we promise to get back to you as soon as we can.
