It may also include more personal information such as medical or dietary information which we require in order to plan a safe adventure for you.
We may also collect personal information directly from you in the course of marketing activities such as business cards, personal contact details, emails and other social media.
When sending us an email we will receive your email address, IP address and other information stored in the email as well as any information you opt to give us about you and your party. This information is stored securely by our web hosting providers policies and access to it is password protected and only available to staff and employees who require access. Anything you share with us will be confidential and we will only ask for information sufficient for us to plan and deliver safe adventures with you.
Our website contact forms send email messages direct to us and are treated the same as direct emails but there is an option to subscribe to our newsletters. If you opt to tick this box, you should refer to the privacy policies of the appropriate third-party provider below as you may be providing them with data about yourself as well as us.
By using specific features of our site or sending us emails you will be giving us personal information about yourself. Only give us information that is required in order for us to plan and deliver a safe adventure with you or that you are happy for us to know. Failure to disclose certain personal information may compromise our ability to keep you safe during activities.

We do not collect or store any personal information (e.g. name, address, etc.) so this information cannot be used to directly identify any individuals. We use this data anonymised by Google to aid us in planning future marketing campaigns and make improvements to the site for the benefit of all users.
When you visit our website, details relating to your visit such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address used, browser type and version, operating system and platform, time zone, webpages visited and duration and other similar data will be collected automatically by our web-server and analytics software.

We use Mailchimp as our chosen method of storing your basic contact details with specific regards to being able to send you electronic newsletters and mailings. We can only do this is you have given us permission to add your details to the list (for example, through a booking form) or if you choose to do so your self via our website.
Anyone who has previously been on our mailing list with 'SendinBlue', will have been sent an email asking them to move their data over or to have it removed from 'SendinBlue'.
They are a recognised and trusted means to do this and comply with all regulations related to their business. The Mailchimp privacy policy can be read on their website.
We use Facebook as one of our marketing channels and pass data between their site and our own. If you have left us a review on Facebook, this is considered to be in the public domain and may appear on our website. If you have a Facebook account you should be familiar with their privacy policies and what can be shared between you and us as well as between you or us and Facebook. In a similar fashion, we also use Instagram (a Facebook owned company) for research and marketing purposes. The Instagram privacy policy is on their website.
We use FreeAgent software for our financial management and the FreeAgent privacy policy is on their website. This relates principally to our use of their software as they do not have access to your data. The only information we share with FreeAgent is your name and email address in order for us to be able to send you invoices for your booking(s). FreeAgent do not process any payments made against invoices themselves, this will be undertaken by their processing partner, Stripe.
eola Ltd. is a third-party online booking system through which we take reservations and payments for our adventures. Payments made through their software is processed by Stripe (see below) and only data relating to you and your booking, not your card details, are shared with us.
The information you supply via eola is stored on their servers and accessed via online means by us. We need this data in order to handle your booking effectively and collect the required information about you prior to your adventure. The eola Ltd privacy policy is on their website.
On the day of your adventure, you may make a card payment using our WorldPay terminal machine.
If you opt to make a card payment over the phone, we will enter the minimum details from your card into our WorldPay terminal. This information is not retained by us in any form. If the transaction fails, you will be notified and we will need to request your card details again.
Worldpay and their corporate owner, FIS, process your card payment. We do not store any data from this transaction beyond the receipt printed from the machine.
Should you make a card payment through our accounting package, your transaction will be processed by Stripe and not FreeAgent. We do not receive any information regarding your transaction from Stripe other than details of the actual payment. The Stripe global privacy policy details what information they store and how they may use it.
